These proposals include a three-month time-frame for the holiday of gas taxes. In the final days of June it is unclear what is being examined by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates begin for all states. While President Obama has offered the idea of a national holiday for gas taxes but he is unable to find any legislation that could fund the holiday.
