These include a 3 month period of a gas tax vacation. But , as of June 30 the proposal is not being thought of by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates start with all states. While President Trump has proposed to extend a national gas tax holiday and has not yet found any legislation that could fund the holiday.
They are controversial
Whatever the political stance of the idea regardless of the political stance, gas rebates are one of the many tools to assist Americans combat the high cost of gas.
