Some political leaders in New York state have also support the idea of suspending state gas tax of 33.3 cents per gallon.
These aren’t available in every state.
Although the federal government isn’t in the process of implementing any type of stimulus package state legislators and President Biden have come up with various ideas to assist consumers. These proposals include a three month time-frame for the holiday of gas taxes. But as of late June there was nothing concrete being discussed by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates start rolling out across every state. While President Trump has proposed to extend a national gas tax holiday but has not come across any feasible legislation to fund it.
