The federal government hasn’t signed the Gas Rebate legislation from 2022. However, they are considering plans, and certain cities and states have already put in place legislation for it. These include a 3-month discount on gasoline taxes. In the final days of June, there’s nothing concrete to be considered by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates begin for all states. Although the President has been able to propose to extend a national gas tax holiday but has not come across any viable legislation to fund it.
