The federal government ought to consider such a program as an effective method to counter the rising price of gasoline and other goods.

These include a three-month relaxation of the tax on gas. But as of late June there is nothing concrete being debated by Congress. It will be some time before gas rebates begin to roll out in all states. While President Obama has offered nationwide gas tax holidays however, he’s been unable to find any legislation that could fund it.
