A gas rebate card could be a great temporary solution but there are plenty of challenges that need to resolved before it becomes an actual reality for American customers.

The federal government hasn’t adopted the Gas Rebate Act in 2022, however it is looking at an option. In addition, some states and cities have already promulgated legislation for it. Inflation rebate checks are intended for helping people deal with the rising cost of living. While they aren’t a federal program, many of these rebates have been issued by state governments based on surpluses. Federal government officials should look into this program as a way to address the current high costs of fuel and other products.
